Valldemossa- Sóller road

Back

Description

Valldemossa is a town nestling in an idyllic spot in a valley of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range. It is renowned as the site of a magnificent Carthusian monastery, where Frederic Chopin and George Sand once stayed. The road between this town and Sóller boasts spectacular sea views and along the way you will be able to admire the various estates that belonged to the Archduke Ludwig Salvator of Austria, such as Son Marroig. You can also stop off at the Sa Foradada lookout point, a rock perforated by the wind and waves in Deià, before carrying on to Cala Deià, Sa Calobra and finally Sóller.
